Observe Black Day to register protest against PMs AP visit on Feb 10: Naidu

Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and Telugu Desam Party National President N Chandrababu Naidu asked the TDP leaders and cadre to "register protests" and observe a "Black Day' against the visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the state on Sunday. The Prime Minister is coming to Guntur to address a BJP meeting. "Register protest against the Narendra Modi's AP visit. The protests should draw the attention of the country. Mr.Modi is coming to AP only to rub chilli powder on the bifurcation wounds of the state. Observe February 10 and 11 as 'black days" he told the TDP leaders, while addressing them through a teleconference here on Saturday. The Chief Minister said "Mr Modi is in "frustration". He will criticise me in the BJP's public meeting.... Register massive protests against his visit by wearing yellow shirts", he told the TDP cadre. He asked the cadre to carry out protest "rallies and demonstrations" against Modi's visit tomorrow. The BJP-led NDA government at the Centre is trying to destabilize the state, he alleged and asked the cadre to be prepared mentally to face any development. "The PMO's interference in the Rafale deal is discrediting the reputation of the country and defence wing.

"The Modi-led Centre is struck in the Rafale deal" Mr.Naidu alleged. Leader of the Opposition and YSRCP President Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy did not condemn the Modi- led Centre's injustice to AP which is indicating the nexus between the YSRCP and BJP, the Chief Minister remarked. Meanwhile, the CPI(M) and CPI state units called upon their cadre to protest against the Modi's visit. CPI(M) state Secretary P Madhu and CPI state secretary K Ramakrishna, talking to media here on Saturday, called upon all Left party activists to protest against Modi's visit by carrying out demonstration across the state. Meanwhile, the Patyeka Hoda Sadhana Samiti (PHSS) Convener Chalasani Srinivas said that they would register protest against Mr Modi's AP visit by carrying "empty pots". The PHSS was launched to carry out agitations demanding Special Category Status (SCS) to AP.
