CPI-M urges intervention of CM in party activist murder

Puducherry, Mahe Local Committee of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) on Monday urged the intervention of Chief Minister V Narayanasamy in the murder of party activist Kannipoyil Babu in Mahe allegedly by RSS and Sangh Parivar activits on May 7, 2018. In a letter to Chief Minister, with copies marked to the Director General of Police, Puducherry and Inspector General of Police, the CPI-M unit urged the Chief Minister to ensure that a blemishless and dependable chargesheet be filed in the court without any further delay Further, the Chief Minister should also look into the conspiracy angle of the case to book all the real culprits. It was stated that the Mahe police failed to look into the conspiracy angle and the progress in the investigation of the case was not satisfactory. The party also cautioned that they are time and again pacifying the agitated party workers in Mahe.
