Tripura youth spot dead during facebook live of motor bike drive

Agartala, A pall of gloom descended in Harina village of Sabroom in south Tripura after death of 25 –yrs old nursing student Rahul Das in road accident yesterday while doing facebook live during driving a motor bike on national highway. The pillion rider of Rahul, Suman Das (26) has been fight for survival at hospital in critical condition. The entire joy ride of Rahul including the accident he met was live on facebook – Rahul R D is live. According to report, Rahul is studying in a nursing college of Kolkata and had arrived village to meet his parents for two days. His return travel was scheduled in yesterday's evening flight. Before living for Agartala airport from his150 kms distant village, Rahul went to see the upcoming railway station of Sabroom with his friend.

Rahul has a good number of followers in social media because of his motor ride live on facebook. Even after 12 hrs of his death more than 10,000 people watched the video and more than 300 followers have shared it. However, in the evening, when the news of Rahul's death spread, his facebook wall flooded with hundreds of condolence. According to report, Rahul and Suman had gone to a distance of about 12 kilometres from their village and it was also telecast in facebook live. While returning from Sabroom station, Rahul was doing the facebook live and also driving the bike in one hand relatively in high speed. Suddenly, the bike hit the pallor of a bailey bridge in the middle and Rahul died on the spot and Suman received gravies head injury and both of them were shifted to hospital by fire service crews. The doctors declared Rahul brought dead and Suman was shifted to Agartala Govt Medical College. According to Rahul's facebook profile, he had made the similar dangerous motor ride on facebook live in eastern bypass of Kolkata a few hours before he had boarded plane for Agartala on July 20 last. He was repeatedly urged not to do such venture of dangerous motor bike driving, which he had been practicing for past many years but he didn't listen and recently he had added facebook live of his motor ride, said his father Nirmal Das. "We are always tensed for him because of critical motor driving practices," he added.
